Jairo Llano (born in 1979 in Bogotá, Colombia) is a Colombian photographer who lives and works in Bogotá. His photographs utilize everyday objects to explore light and geometry, some of them of structures built by him and others as abstractions of daily life buildings into idealistic cubes. His work has some influences from Tara Donovan, Zoe Leonard, Bleda y Rosa, and Catalan photographer Jordi Bernadó.
Jairo Llano (1979) is a former architect and artist in Bogotá. His artworks have been shown in Spain, Colombia, and USA. Although his work is fine art photography his subjects are sculptures or tridimensional interventions in space. In 2023 his work was shown at LA Art Show, and Dallas Art Fair, and will be at BEA Gallery for his second solo show. Right now Llano is working on paper sculptures for the series "Questions without answers".
